Default First Outdoor Off Road of 2009

The first outdooor off road bash of the year tookmplace this aftrnoon at Parmiters,

A relatively low turn out arrived to brave the cold elements we are getting at the momnet, bt several new faces who all purchased cars and trucks through the shop at Christmas time came down with thier rides to experience what it is all about.

We had one of the all new Schumacher Riot 2 trucks being run in and doing a few circuits, another new comer arrived and ran several packs of battereis through his new Losi Desert Truck.

We had regulars there such as myself (along with young Callum - who was running his Losi High Roller truck too), Kirk Redford ran his electric buggies - the X-Factory X6 and X-Factory X5 Squared, Gareth popped down for a short while. Eric and Alex Michaelides arrived to and ran the Losi 8IGHT buggy and X-Factory X6.

We also had one display with us one of the all new trucks from X-Factory the "X-60".

All in all, good but cold fun enjoyed by all who were there.........roll on next week, hopefully the weatehr will start to warm slightly!!

Default Desert truck durability

Sounds like you all had fun

I notice that someone was bashing a losi desrt truck.
How did it hold up durability wise?
As I've been considering getting one and have heard mixed reviews about it's durability.

Cheers

James

HI James,

Welcome on board..... The Desert Truck from Losi has proved to be great in terms of both performance and value/durability, the minimal amount of spares we sell for them as apposed to the number that are now out there is testamnet alone to how good they are.

Bear in mind that the above report was not from this weekend but in fact back in January too.

There was a good number up there running today with a good split of electric and nitro powered buggies, truggies and monster trucks, althought the heat and the attraction of the fottbal on TV meant I only stayed for a short while
